Some of the major differences between SOLIUS and red light therapy stem from the different wavelengths of light that each treatments uses. Different wavelengths of light lead to different physiological processes occurring in the body.
SOLIUS uses a very narrow wavelength of light from 293-303 nanometers(nm) while red light therapy uses wavelengths between 630-700nm.
SOLIUS activates the body’s natural production of several beneficial hormones and peptides when exposed to a very small spectrum of UVB light contained in the sun. These different hormones and peptides, like vitamin D, travel throughout the body to promote systemic wellness and healing.
